This weekend we welcome Warragul United to Moores Road. As with many of the teams we will play this year they are somewhat of an unknown quantity.

However after a mid table finish last year they are looking to improve in the coming season and after a strong showing in their first match of the season against Riversdale with a 3 – 0 win they are well on the way.

Monbulk also is on the improve after a rebuilding season in 2006. Two games into the season and we are again sitting where every team wants to be on top of the ladder. This has come after a great first up win against Rowville Eagles where the newly recruited Adams brothers starred with 5 goals between them, the second game of the season by all accounts was a more scrappy affair played in miserable conditions and produced a nil all draw against Noble park.

 This week the boys will be looking to enforce their home ground advantage and come away again with maximum points. After some early season injuries the team is beginning to get back some more players and there is a real competition for spots within the senior team. This will only serve to strengthen our lineup through both the Senior and Reserves squads.
